As SMARTIE PARTIE approachs 15 years in promoting parties, we reflect
on what an amazing journey this has been for us, and hopefully the
millions of clubbers that have attended our parties over the years
across the world!
We've witnessed so many changes in club-land, that it still makes your
head spin! Yet no matter what happens we've learned that if we adapt
we will survive and its the reason we are still throwing parties after
so many years. From the birth of SP at the Ministry of Sound around
1994/5 to our amazing 5yr residency at Turnmills, where we progressed
to the highest level. On to venues such as Scala, where we saw some of
our best ever New Years Eve parties (2008 + 2009)...
It was around this time that London clubland changed dramatically with
the loss of 3 major Super Clubs, Turnmills, The End & The Cross. A
shift in club-land was definitely in the wind! Not long after the
monstrous 'Matter' also closed its doors for good, with its sister
club Fabric also rumoured to be in trouble. But lets not panic, as
clubland has always had its ups & downs and the adventurous always
survive.
So SMARTIE PARTIE has gone on a mission to give our loyal followers a
vast choice of events to choose from, as we like to say 'something for
everyone!' We have boat parties, to afterparties at Cable, to the
Honey Club in Brighton, to Ibiza's beach front Bora Bora, to an
appearance at the London Freeze festival, to the snowy peaks of
Poland, and more...
But for now back to London... If you were lucky enough to join us in
Ibiza and party like you've never partied, on the 25th September @
Bora Bora. Then this event is all about you. Saturday 9th October we
celebrate our annual Ibiza reunion, where we'll feature all things
'Beefa' at this brilliant 3 room venue in Vauxhall. This awesome venue
has been newly refurbished with a slight Turnmills feel to it. And a
large outdoor terrace for all you fab hags! We've also taken into
consideration that most of you will be skint from your holidays, so
we've got a special SP Concession for you to print off & hand in for
your discount entry.
